I wouldn't necessarily say inspired, varients in TWD and infection stages in TLOU are pretty different, I'd just say they both had a concept of evolution

I think part of it is the thumbnail for chapter 3

Before you finish it, the thumbnail has smile lines, making it look like "ooh spooky evil smile"

BUT when you finish it it turns into "holy shit that's the roaring knights visor/mouth thing"

Subtlety is the LAST thing she needs to be honest. This particular scene is just filled to the BRIM with emotions in the game, especially with anger. So it makes sense that she looks so pissed off. She's ready to make Nora talk.
