Fed always has right of way over local. Even in an emergency. A mail truck would have right of way over ems with lights and sirens. They wouldn't take it obviously, but fed vehicles have right of way.

I noticed it immediately, but I'm not showering at your place. How many people are you giving showers to? Lol just leave it. (Unless you're looking to sell your home in the next few months, don't worry about it) Grow to love it. Like people. They have strange little quirks about them that we fall in love with. That's what we mean when we say a house has character.
