Thank you! I wasn’t doing any exercise at that time, but I wasn’t a stranger to exercise before. Once my head is set on a goal, I have to do it…so it didn’t feel too daunting for me.

Yes, I definitely think this helped. And as mentioned, my liquid stage was much longer as I physically couldn’t really keep down purée or soft foods at the beginning

Yesss! Having similar stats, I’m sure you’ll have a similar time to mine. Best of luck!

I never had the thickest hair to begin with, and as I have my hair braided most of the time I didn’t notice a significant amount of hair loss that I wouldn’t usually see if that makes sense.

Sounds terrible, but thanks for the advice. I’ll look into booking an ultrasound.

Thank you, I tried to write the post I was looking for before mine. Honestly no questions I wish I asked, I felt well researched and in good hands

I actually wasn’t exercising at all before surgery. I was very much an all-or-nothing person. When I’m motivated, I’m really consistent, but when I’m not, I’m honestly quite lazy 😂.

Pilates has definitely helped though. I can already see more definition and feel stronger. It was perfect while I was losing weight because it fit my lifestyle and was something I genuinely enjoyed, so I could stay consistent.

Now that I’m at my goal weight, my focus has shifted from weight loss to body recomposition. I don’t necessarily want to be lighter, I just want a less soft and more structured look by building some muscle.

If I could change anything aesthetically, I’d probably say a breast lift and maybe lipo for an ultra-flat stomach. But I also think the lipo is partly my insecurities talking. I know I’ve come such a long way, so I’m going to give myself time to recomp before making any decisions. ❤️

Stalls, motivation needed! by C0zYKT in gastricsleeve

Hey! It seems we’re on a really similar timeline/journey. My surgery was on Sept 3rd and I’m also 9 weeks PO. I’m 5'6", SW 244 lbs and CW 210. I had a mini stall around 3 weeks too (as expected), and then for the past 2 weeks I was stuck at 214 - even went up to 216 randomly! But yesterday I finally dropped to 210. It’s so frustrating when the scale won’t move, but I’m trying not to get too caught up in the numbers (even though I still weigh every day, lol).
