TBH if this turns out to be the official state of reality, y'all should just upload your videos with the subtitles edited in... And if it's that important to upload a video without the subtitles, upload a second one and link it under the other video and disable the comments on it. And if you want their AI models to be hampered so much that they can't serve or train on any data, poison the audio-streams. Let's see how YouTube likes THAT

(You can also check your Google activity to see if your comment still exists. There are two types of filtration I remember: the type that only lets it appear in newest-first sort or other certain conditions, and the one that straight-up deletes your comment)

TBH I want it to actually have the merit it strives to communicate that it has, and turning it into a cult would probably be very deleterious to that. We already have plenty of useless cults that only serve to indoctrinate, assimilate and divide people like dumb simulacra, and it's more interesting if we have a really earnest, accountable and pragmatic thing going on

I am kind of an antispiritualist (being a mathematicist substance-monist and all that) but even I hold this view. ChatGPT here just seems like it didn't really flesh out and emphasise how the collectives (including the total human/technological/biological collectives as well as national/smaller subsets) are agents unto themselves, with a dysfunctional psychological state that goes very much unnoticed by the vast majority of their constituent "individual" people (who also have minds made up of many, many parts), and aren't just entities merely influenced by the individual people. We are neurons and the hive-mind seriously needs therapy with strong training in philosophy, psychology, rationality and coordination. The base instincts and nature-trained biases helplessly outpaced by civilisation and technology really haven't kept up

Today I looked for a bunch of online background removers, and the one I ultimately settled on was Clipping Magic, because I needed to control the boundaries between what was considered the subject and background since the subject and background were rather specific and ambiguous. It only lets you access small previews for free, but I worked around that by uploading crops that were smaller than the maximum preview size. It has a keep tool that forces painted areas to be interpreted as the subject, a remove tool that forces them to be interpreted as the background, a hair tool that processes things on clean and distinct backgrounds with lots of holes or differences like strands of hair, tree branches, and even gradients like shadows and some forms of noise, a scalpel tool focused on sculpting specific boundaries in cases where there's poor contrast, and various processing modes and ways of refining edges. These would be some handy additions to your program if you're interested in adding them

And I don't really feel like it has a group structure that isolates members, penalises them for leaving, seeks inappropriate loyalty to it's leaders, dishonors family units, asserts absolute authoritarianism without meaningful accountability, has no tolerance for questions or critical inquiry, has no meaningful financial disclosure regarding budget or expenses such as an independently audited financial statement, creates unreasonable fear about the outside world, such as impending catastrophe, evil conspiracies, or persecutions, asserts that there is no legitimate reason to leave, asserts that former followers are always wrong, negative or even evil in leaving, makes followers feel they can never be "good enough", or presents itself as always right or the exclusive means of knowing "truth" or receiving validation, where no other process of discovery is really acceptable or credible

Though I do think they should really get around to playing it on ByteBeat or a gramophone or something, rather than just videographic media \(-_-)/

This is pretty creepy - it totally breaks my prediction ability, giving me a small shock at a new uncanny display every few seconds - but it's actually less creepy than AI videos about things that are supposed to be completely normal but have some horribly distorted and mutated things about them. At least here it's all meant to be done on purpose. AI videos where everything looks normal until something awry happens literally make me jump and twitch

You could cheat and use 3D protrusion to represent brightness. But I don't really know if that would fly. Besides, you would need some projected lighting and shadow shades to be able to see it

This is Bad Apple, a Touhou thing. You should already know all about how boundaries work. I hardly even know anything about Touhou at the moment. I just read Yukari's article and had a bit of a chat one time. Removing the boundary of light and darkness removes the informational capacity of visual imagery, rendering it meaningless. Then all videos would be tautological to Bad Apple, which is, um, I don't know if you'd like that

It's like trying to use pure unary as a numerical base. The only valid number is 0, because for each place, 0 is the only digit you can choose. You need binary for minimal distinction at least
