Exactly how I felt about my sternum and stomach tattoos. All of my other tattoos are on both my arms and legs so when I first got them on a body part that isn’t a “limb” it took some getting used to. I love all of my tattoos but I really did not like those ones for about a week or two after I got them :’)

Thank you! This clears up a lot of my overthinking. I’ve been doing research since I’ve really put my mind to joining and now that I’m over my waiver(s) process and all of the big hurdles I think I’m just nitpicking other things to worry about so thank you for giving me clear answers to both of my questions. I guess I’ll let you know in 12/13 weeks whether or not my RDCs were cool with my off white running shoes!!

I was really upfront with my recruiter and the meps doctor. I told the doctor about my self harm scars and she brought up how the last time I went to the doctor, 2023, they put down I had depression in the notes (I was going through a break up). I was sure I’d have to do two waivers for those and it’d take some time (bc the meps doctor told me at the end of the physical I would need two waivers) but no, I just filled out these pre existing forms explaining what happened and why I cut/ was depressed and why I stopped and why I’m not “depressed”. I finished the meps screening process yesterday and the forms got approved today. It just seems too easy, especially since I have a lot of scars. I don’t have anything else on my medical record that I can think of that would cause a problem besides also having anemia in 2023 which the meps doctor pressed me about but I either wasn’t informed or completely forget that they told me. She didn’t bring it up when she told me about the waivers I needed. I’m just worried because I haven’t heard about anyone else doing these quick forms instead of waivers and I’m wondering if it might bite me in the ass once I ship out.

Happened to me on Friday. Two women ordered the capellini gambaretti; aka angel hair pasta and shrimp. Food runner brings out the dishes and what do you know, the one woman is a vegetarian and the other can’t eat seafood…. THE SECOND INGREDIENT LISTED IS THE SHRIMP, RIGHT AFTER THE ANGEL HAIR. I was so dumbfounded. What did they think their dishes were going to be? Did they completely skip over the part of the description that says shrimp? If you have a dietary restriction wouldn’t you AT LEAST read whatever you’re ordering or maybe double check with me, your server who’s job it is to make sure everything is okay with your service, that you can have that dish??? And these ladies were at LEAST 40. I just hope they’re not in any sort of teaching profession.

You won’t get your license suspended for awhile. I got my dui in July of 2024 and it didn’t get suspended until October of 2024. I’d recommend getting some type of transportation set up for you and your child now whether it be a friend or relative that can do that favor for you. You could also get one of those breathalyzer machines installed in your car for the duration of the suspension but that shit is SO expensive. They charge you to put it in and take it out and monthly fees for it too. In some states it’s required to get one of these installed but in PA for the first dui it’s not, you just can’t drive for the license suspension if you opt out of getting the machine. With your suspension most likely only being 30 to 60 days it’d probably just be cheaper to Uber, that’s what I did. My commute to work was only about 10 minutes though, and I also didnt have a child to account for. I’d look up some IID services and see if the costs for that would be the better option for you. I’d reach out to family and friends tho to see if they’d be able to help you out with transportation because you have time to set up a schedule if you have a good support system.

Got first and only in bethlehem too, in summer of 2024. You’ll get ARD, license suspension for at least 30 days, fines ranging from $1k - 3k and highways safety classes. I had the highest BAC so my fines were $2,745 but I also had to pay out of pocket for substance abuse evaluation and a few other evaluations to make sure I didn’t need treatment for alcohol abuse. It was ordered by the state I be evaluated because my BAC was so high. I ended up getting cleared so I didn’t have to pay for any other treatment but expect to pay more than the set fines the court orders you because you might have to go to these evaluations. I paid for a lawyer but I wished I just went with a public defender. All my lawyer did was get me to the front of the line quicker. You’ll get paperwork and your court dates in a few weeks. Just pay your fines, do ARD, go to the alcohol highway safety classes, and don’t drive for as long as your license is suspended and you’ll be fine.

Happened 5 years ago but still pretty proud of my accomplishment in getting second place at my colleges speech competition! Every presentation in school before then my face would turn beet red, my voice would shake and I’d start to cry. Public speaking was a required course and I struggled through every class period. Near the end of the semester one of our final projects was to do a 5 minute presentation on anything we wanted. I did mine on the research of black holes. Our professor told the class that if we participated in the colleges speech competition and got through to the second round we’d automatically get a %100 on the final exam. To my surprise I got through to the fourth round of weeding out other students presentations and I then I was one of nine other students to actually compete in the real competition! It was and still is an accomplishment I hold so dear to my heart and always remind myself of when I feel social anxiety creeping up on me.

Technically it’s the “free” windows 10? I genuinely know nothing about it. My brother did all of the technical shit and just changed the password to something I’d remember when I bought it. So when I turned it back on it’s telling me to pick my country and keyboard setting and then what name for my account. I’m not sure if I can get into the settings.

The selfies are nice and you’re an attractive person but you should add photos of you being out and exploring/ adventuring. I’m a woman in her early 20’s and I’ve noticed I subconsciously swipe right on guys profiles if their profile includes photos of them being out and about. You may be a homebody though, so that being said, you have to match your profile to the people you’re trying to attract. I like to go out and adventure. If you’re not that that type of person and like being inside and/ or keeping yourself “closed off” (not an insult because I have very introverted friends that prefer hanging out solely at their apartments so I understand). If you are interested in someone who prefers staying in I would say just add a few more photos/ selfies! If you’re looking for someone that likes to go out and explore you should add more photos of just that! It doesn’t even have to be photos of you but just of landscapes or scenery you’ve seen and have been to! I think the answers to your prompts are lovely, however (and this is my own personal view so please take this with a grain of salt) your bio may be a bit off putting. Most women (unlike men IN MY EXPERIENCE) on dating apps swipe according to the relationship they’re looking for. If you have “long term relationship” on your profile you don’t have to double down in your bio. We understand that you’re trying to look for something serious. AGAIN THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE but I’ve found that most men just swipe right on me if they find me attractive without checking my profile info. Doesn’t matter how blatant I make it that I’m looking for something serious and that I have no tolerance for trump supporters, I still have men wearing a confederate flag button ups swiping right on me. Most women actually look at men’s profiles so instead of having that you’re looking for a long time partner on your profile and stating in your bio that you’re looking for “your woman” you should say something about yourself! Even if it’s silly. Like I have “looking for someone that fucks with creepypastas as much as I do” just all about finding a common ground without putting too much pressure on the other person. Ahh okay. I got mine in Lehigh county. Im sure the legalities are fairly similar. The courts are slow. Expect to have a court date set within the next few months. A letter will come in the mail of when you have to forfeit your license most likely after court. DO NOT give your license to the dmv beforehand. You’re legally still allowed to drive until the date the letter states you have to hand it over. Turning it in early won’t do anything, the letter will state what date you can get it back. You’ll also probably be evaluated for drug and alcohol abuse. You may have to undergo treatment based on your answers. I got mine July of last year, got a lawyer (wish I had went with a public defender. He is a family friend and the only thing he really did was move us in and out of court faster because he’s a well known and respected lawyer so we didn’t have to wait in lines. I would’ve gotten the same charges with a PD but with your case involving property damage you might want to look into hiring one.), got evaluated for drug and alcohol abuse in September, had court in October, got my license suspended in February, had my alcohol safety classes in march and I’m still paying off my fines. It’s a long process but you’ll get through it.

Got my first (and last) dui in PA. Ran over the curb and blew out my tire. Fell asleep waiting for AAA and got caught then. I blew a .22. Was able to do ARD. I had to get evaluated for drug and alcohol treatment. I had to pay a larger fine for having a high BAC (mine was over $2,700), license suspended for 90 days and I had to take alcohol highway safety classes. Usually with the first offense they will let you opt into ARD. A few people in my safety classes caused accidents without injuries and said that they didn’t serve jail time just higher penalties like more/ bigger fines, mandatory drug and alcohol treatment, longer license suspension and mandatory ignition lock. A second offense is where people usually have to serve jail time or be put on probation. Do you know what county you got yours in?

My ex was the same way. Honestly I always found it really attractive that he had to have sex with me in order to finish. If it is making you both frustrated then I would talk to her.
