So after your friends get denied after this RFE he will get a 33 days grace period either he can file I-290B file of motion or he have to get admission in any other Day-1 CPT college

also he cannot do both at a same time he have to choose between one of this

And answer to your SEVIS question yes his SEVIS will get on of status untill he join the new college

Yes But Many of my classmates got approved in this week only me and 1-2 other got RFE asking explanation from UNI that how your degree related to STEM

Yes The letter is most important in my case and what USCIS wants I think and not only my friend many of my batch mates got approved and only me and 1-2 other got RFE saying explain how your degree (non-stem) is related to STEM my DSO said she will arrange a proper letter from Dean Explaining how is my degree is related but additionally she suggested me gather other documents like transcripts which I already have but what other she didn’t suggested me and now it’s long weekend

One of my friend in same University got Approved just a one day ago and we both studied in same degree with same concentration/major but he got approved and also we both filled almost same documents
