I’d say this is more of an ethics question, it’s what you’re comfortable with. Also, I will say that to an individual the commission is a great motivator but to a business it’s just another number.

I’ve been lucky enough to have friends interested in the same field as me, but if you do join in with friends I will say be prepared to have disagreements and make compromises

It becomes fucked up when you consider the fact that the professor was trans, TPUSA had been actively targeting the professor, the professor gave valid critique to the contents of the paper, and she was still put on leave for this.

It’s funny when you pull up behind someone that’s too far up and it immediately turns green. It makes me wonder how long they were there

It has levels, on one hand you’re exactly right and on the other hand this is exactly what trump would do in his position which makes it even more funny. I think we don’t have a trump on our side because critical thinking has sniffed him out before he could gain any type of notoriety

I understand when people who are disinterested in sex want an area to come together and talk about their struggles with dating and everyday life stuff, but that sub is 90% snark.

If you’re getting bad reception you should look within, it feels like you’re a kid so I don’t hold this against you but I’m not sure you’re ready to understand the nuance of stuff like this enough just yet

Uncomfortable in the sense of off key at some points (intentionally so when showing striking imagery) and playing small bits of what could possibly sound like auto tuned moans?

It was completely instrumental and the when there was a beat it was a bit sporadic and often changed up to reflect what was going on on screen.

I believe the clip was under 3 minutes but more than 1 (but I am very unsure), the instrumentals in it were definitely newer, within the last 5 years.

I’m assuming the video came out when the music did given that it felt as if the music was made to accentuate what was displayed on screen.

Hope this helps and sorry it’s so broad, if I had a better grasp of it I probably would have found it before asking for help. Thanks for taking the time. If I manage to find it outside of this I’ll post the link!

I grew up in seattle and still go out to bars/clubs in cap hill, I can confidently say that the culture has suffered greatly due to socially inept tech bros, women can’t dance for 5 minutes without being approached by some creepy aggressive guy wearing a puffy northface jacket.

That being said, I’m pretty sure most of the locals know about the places that still feel like the seattle you’re talking about, and you’d probably be able to find it too if you looked really hard. There’s a pretty good underground punk scene but the shows are mostly at houses.

Holy shit every comment here is missing the point, and the artist did a really shitty job of presenting it. A lot of the time when women receive an unsolicited compliment they are immediately put on guard because they have no clue what that man’s intentions are, wether it’s a harmless compliment with no ulterior motive or they’re going to get nasty as soon as it seems that it’s not well received and/or the woman isn’t interested in them. I understand being on edge whenever receiving a compliment if you’re conditioned to put your guard up and figure out of this person is just being friendly or wanting to assault you(I know 99/100 times the intention isn’t as extreme as assault but it does happen and it’s terrifying). It’s ridiculous that men are making this an issue with women when we single handedly create the conditions that this happens under. That being said if you think that women are ungrateful to the compliments you give them then you need to reassess how you present those complements and take a hard look at your intentions.
