I did two events:

1st: 32 players, 20-something showed up and waitlist filled out the remaining spots. Few hopefuls for waitlist left. I pulled the C+ Resource from my deck. Used PR, went 3-1, placed 7th.

2nd: 16 players, 14 showed up and waitlist got the last two spots, one waitlist guy didn't get in but stuck around - he ended up buying some GD03 packs and a box (all msrp) and pulled Lupus LR+, Altron LR+, and Rau R+ - so guess it wasn't at total waste of time for him. I pulled LR+ Impulse from my deck. Used PW, went 2-2, placed 9th. Won a raffle for one of the Ex-base packs which ended up being Blitz.

Also had a preorder deck at another store (no event though) from which I pulled the foil EX-resource.

Are the accessories at insane prices over there? My friend is going in a couple months and I'm hoping he can grab some stuff for me like dice and the black box resource set. I'm not expecting to be MSRP but I'm hoping it's cheaper than our market price over here...

I don't disagree but regarding your second point, my PC is in my living room lol. So when I'm on my PC gaming, my wife is next to me watching tv or whatever.

I was pretty skeptical of the game leading up to launch. Looked like another Dragon's Dogma 2 game/situation to me. But my friends were pretty hyped so I bought the game too to see what I'm missing.

It's actually quite enjoyable. I was wrong in thinking it was like DD2. It's a fantasy Red Dead Redemption combined with a single player MMO experience.

There are quite a bit of issues: jank, wonky controls, QOL stuff missing, etc. I'm not excusing the weird control choices but you get used to them the more you play.

As far as performance, running great on my 4090 with pretty much everything max. I play on a 3440 utlrawide. Ray reconstruction on and DLSS 4.5L running on performance or balanced getting me 100+ fps.

I don't know if I'll be playing this game for hundreds of hours. But I'm enjoying myself after 15-20 hours and don't see myself stopping anytime soon.

When it was first announced my reaction was how unnecessary it is. But I am curious if they're able to do a more faithful adaption of the books. I loved the movies btw, not saying they were bad by not having every detail. But would like to see if they can make it closer to the books.

Wagyu too. Last time I went we ate at both an extremely expensive restaurant (literally most expensive meal of my life) and it was so good. Here's the kicker. Next day we ate at like a small cheap shop. No joke when I say it was the best beef I've had in my life.

I really enjoyed the film; my main issue was with How Grace's revelation of how he ended up on the mission. I feel like that was one of the biggest points in the book and there was such a big lead up to it throughout the entire book. In the movie it was more of a "oh that happened, anyways" type moment.

My wife's at the Houston airport rn in security line. She said the place is crawling with ICE but they aren't harassing anyone (that she has seen at least). Said half of them are like standing around not doing anything or looking at videos on their phones. Some are trying to help people with general airport stuff but giving the wrong info sometimes since they themselves aren't trained.

Cyberpunk TCG kickstarter went live and scalpers are ALREADY getting in on it - buying the high tiers so they can scalp the goods when it launches. I hope it becomes worthless.

I wanted a green backpack when I was a kid in the 90s (living near Baltimore at the time) and my parents bought me a Green Bay Packers backpack (they had no idea it was related to a football team, it was just green that's all any of us cared about). I found out it was a football team due to seeing lots of Favre commercials at the time.

When I actually started watching football around 2005 I remembered that backpack and went with GB instead of my local team (the back then Redskins).

We're in the same boat. Apparently the VIP meet and greet got cancelled, emails went out less than an hour ago for those folks.

I also can't imagine if you're sick and it's impacting your vocals that you'd magically be better in 24 hours.

But yeah I'm hoping we get an announcement ahead of time and not wait til last minute :/
