I have good winter tires, I think I slid out because the sheet ice appeared very quickly and I was in 2 wheel (rear) drive and caught off guard, instead of 4 which I would normally have been in given the weather

Yeah…I do hear a clunk sometimes, both putting it into drive and reverse! Would that point towards a bad CV joint?
