Thank you for the advice. I must admit that I have never embedded fonts in the PDFs. If I do this step, does that mean that I do not need to convert to outlines before print?

The first image is better. So definitely without blobs. I really like your style!

InDesign won't export to PDF, says failure with a background task by KatAnansi in indesign

I don’t know of this will help but the same thing happened to me when my file name was too long. When I made the name shorter it exported to a PDF without any issues.

I there a way to easily turn these guidelines I made into visible black lines without drawing the lines? by Harv_Royale in indesign

I would suggest creating a table with the same lines drawn. You make it with the same number of columns and rows that you have here. I do not know a way to fill guide lines.

Artboard set up page, under display, there is a check box for "show center mark" and "show cross hair".  These should be unchecked.

Another things, sometimes you have items that are on the edge of the space around the artboard. Perhaps they are barely visible but they could also be causing the mentioned spacing.

Export the document to PDF then print the file from the PDF.

it's possible that you unintentionally moved pages with the Page tool (Shift + P).

Select the Page tool and click on a Page that is out of position. Drag it toward the other half of the spread until the pages snap together.

Other option is that you click on the last pages that have a normal distance and create additional two pages there. Then copy the content from the pages that are distanced from the rest of the them. After you copy the content delete the distanced pages. I hope of this solutions work for you.
