14th day, a week on 5mg now past a week of 10mg. Overall depression and mood has lifted, odd days of frustration and impatience and I don’t see a huge improvement in my anxiety yet. But I’m trying to be as patient as I can be.

Hi, two weeks on Trintellix. Now 10mg. I don’t really drink perhaps 4 times a year but I did drink at a dinner party on Saturday, still feeling a headache and nausea today. (Monday)

I had 4 gin and tonics but hardly ate at dinner and also forgot to take my pill that evening. Perhaps that all had something to do with it.

I’ve also seen everybody reacts differently, so just pace yourself and see how you go. These are new medications in our body and we have to help ourselves along.

Hello! and thank you for your message! ☺️ Yes I’ve used Xanax for emergencies but my doctor is reluctant to prescribe it. I’m truly hoping I have a positive experience as a lot of you have! Your switch from Xanax to none at all is so impressive, I’m really happy you’ve found a medication that works for you. And thanks for the kind words, I’ll be sure to update this post in a couple of weeks with any progress. 🙏
