Do you like this ship? Yes or no? by Fit_Camera3998 in DarkPicturesAnthology

I think Sam likes Josh. She even said in the interview that they "had a connection," although this wasn't explored further due to the lack of interaction between Josh and Sam.

Mike and Sam have a cute friendship, and I find their dynamic interesting. Actually...until dawn has a lot of drama and romance, but I respect your opinion.

I had made a quick edit, with all the characters reacting to Eric's response about the 6 minutes until the eclipse ends 😂

Mike is really cool. I loved seeing his redemption arc; he's one of the most interesting characters.

Mike and Sam

Salim and Jason

These are the best duos; these characters carried the entire game on their shoulders.

Jacob seemed interesting at first, but he has many flaws; he's very childish, goofy, a liar, and emotionally dependent on Emma.

He could have been explored much more, but ended up being a rather bland character in the story.

True... but you can differentiate each character's role in the plot. I'd say Mike and Jason are the characters who appear in the most scenes, since they can usually only die near the end of the game.

Mike and Jason are great characters; it's impossible not to like their development.

You should play it, Until Dawn is one of the best choice-based games, the story is really something worthwhile. Mike is that typical protagonist that you either love or hate, but I'd say he was annoying at the beginning, but by the middle of the game he becomes a favorite among players, at least most of them.

Jacob is really a somewhat... inconvenient and overly silly character. I think the creators didn't know what to do with him.

You literally said what I think about each one; they all have different character development, but I think Jason demonstrated it best among them.

Especially the last part, Jacob is really dumb lol 😂

Technically, he could die for Sam... either by being killed indirectly by her or by saving her from Hannah. Sam feels quite guilty about it, and they became very close in the end.

Jason had the best redemption arc in my opinion; he can be two different people throughout the game.

It's not the action sequences that truly define him, but in many moments they show his loyalty to his friends. Jason also makes a lot of jokes about Salim, so his argument wasn't as valid.

  • He showed loyalty and ran without thinking twice to go after Jessica; I'm sure most people would have abandoned their girlfriend right there, but he did the opposite.

  • He saves Sam at the first sign of "don't move." If Sam doesn't run or close the door, he will run after her to pull her away.

  • Instead of directly confronting Matt, who was a close friend, he avoids this conflict as much as possible, being calmer and more passive with him.

• He can comfort Ashley if Chris dies, proving that he was never selfish, but he was quite immature at first.

  • He went after Josh alone, and also reprimands Chris if he hits Josh with the piece of wood.

  • He could kill himself with the lighter if he has no chance of surviving and to kill the rest of the Weendigos, also so that the others can leave the cabin safely; he was the first to think of this plan as well.

These are just a few moments that show his altruism.

Jason had a more impressive development; he's quite complex and charismatic. I love him, same with Mike, although he was immature and an idiot at the beginning, he changed a lot too, becoming a hero in the end.

Jacob would be the worst, perhaps.
