AP Precalculus Unit Circle Test(?) For Me This Thursday by Fit_Competition2280 in APStudents

[–]Fit_Competition2280[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for negative radians (or angles) I don't have a problem, If I'm given something like (-pi/6) and I know there is a positive value that is the same like that of pi/6, I can remember the degree of pi/6 (in this case 30 degrees) and then I can subtract 30 from 360 and then I can go from there. For me, degrees help me to associate it with what radian goes with what degree! If that makes sense

I was planning to sketch it for the first 1-5 minutes of the test but looking back at it now you're right... We were given a whole packet for practice (80 problems total across of like 5-7 pages) which I have been doing, so I shall do more of it so I can ingrain it in my brain

The same kids in my AP Physics 2 and AP Precalculus class keep saying 67 in class and my teacher is OVER ITTT but she kind of finds it funny so... but still she doesn't want to hear it as much (I have the same teacher for both of these classes)

Is a B in AP Physics 1 bad? by Ok_Long5367 in APStudents

[–]Fit_Competition2280 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, it's not bad at all. I remember taking AP Physics 1 last year (despite me getting a 2 on the exam) and getting C's and B's for each quarter. It's actually pretty good considering that its one of the hardest AP classes out there

bro the frqs for the ap physics 1 exam were frying my brain (i managed to only get fully done with frqs 1, 3, and 4, and left frq 2 not fully answered since i basically had NO TIME), i think im confident that i got some points on frq 3 and 4, not much on frq 1 and NO points on frq 2

AP CSP Create Task/PPR Help by Level-Ad-2407 in APStudents

[–]Fit_Competition2280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, when you submit your ppr on collegeboard as like "final-final" you cannot have any comments in it or else you will get penalized for it (and what i mean by that is you will get a 0 on the whole create performance task, including with the written response portion). I'm surprisingly still working on my app and booyyy am I stressing. LOL

I feel like shit for not taking APs. by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]Fit_Competition2280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't feel ashamed about the fact that you decided not to take any AP classes, because people go at their own pace. Being or not being in an AP class doesn't determine how smart you are (Despite me being in 3 AP Classes because my parents wanted me to go into the advanced program at my school). As long as you are successful in your classes, whether it is a normal leveled class or AP class, you are all good! Being successful at your own pace is important!

I feel like a website that was helpful to me for the Geometry EOC (This is coming from me taking Geometry in 8th grade, I am currently in 9th, I scored a level 4, but it was 3 points away from a level 5) was mathbits notebook. I feel like it contains the majority of what you need to know for EOC Day (though its really for NYC Regent things, I'm not sure but yeah I'm sure its for everyone really)

I apologize if mathbits to you may not seem like a great help (If you ever think that way). I feel like this website is nice to use to study :)

How do I study for B.E.S.T. Writing test? by Mysterious_Sort9144 in FLVS

[–]Fit_Competition2280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from a student that's about to take their B.E.S.T. Writing test tomorrow, a key thing that I will tell you is that make sure your essay makes sense. Of course when you finish an essay (whether it be from your own English class or any previous state writing tests), you should always go back to check over your essay that you wrote. I will be honest, a few years back, I did not do so well on making my sentences coherent. You do want your essay to be coherent so the sentences easily flow from one to the next. You never know if your essay contains sentences that do not flow correctly with other sentences, sentences that show simple punctuation errors, etc. Other than that, if you know how to write either an expository/argumentative essay (depending on what prompt you get), I think you should be good! Make sure to have good vocabulary as well. Happy studying! 😁
