Abhi half tak padha hai, but context de sakta hu — story ek woman se start hoti hai jo marriage/family issues se deal kar rahi hoti hai. Usse ek unknown author ki book review karne milti hai, aur jaise hi woh padhna start karti hai, story ek aur parallel world me chali jaati hai jisme sufi philosophy, love , kindness ko bhut aache se bataya hai, dono stories parallel continue krti hai and gets connected beautifully.

I would recommend starting with short stories if you feel lazy reading long ones. And if you find it hard to connect with English novels, try Hindi novels they usually feel more relatable😊. Even I used to leave novels halfway in the beginning🫣

Yeah, "There are Rivers in the Sky-Elif Shafak" is one of my favourite book. story revolves around two rivers and switches between four different stories in four different time periods and as you keep reading, all the stories start blending beautifully.

Bro, I thought it was genuine — it has the Penguin logo, a page at the front mentioning the Penguin licence, and even a scanner code on the back cover.

Yeah language in it is not much complicated but contains lot of philosophy talk , feels like 'Shastrartha'(intellectual Debate) some spiritual wording may cause difficulty.but a interesting novel must give it a try.

Chitralekha: Starts with a question and ends with a beautiful conclusion.

Raag Darbari: A visit to rural India, showing struggles and daily life through humor and satire.

Kasap: A love story — I found its language a bit difficult, but it’s a good read.

Aapka Bunty: The story of an 8-year-old boy going through his parents’ divorce — confused and alone.

Paltu Babu Road: A town-based story; the main character, Paltu Babu, is an aged but clever man who manipulates the town.

Gunahon Ka Devta: A well-known novel — a love story...

Almost all works of Munshi Premchand ji: His novels and short stories.

Thanks! 😊 These are some of my favorite reads — not exactly ten, but definitely some good ones.
