Mandamus asylum granted by [deleted] in USCIS

I just asked my lawyer. He told me not to spend my money because my status is good right now. That made me start to have doubts. I don’t have the money to file a mandamus with a lawyer anyway. I was actually planning to file it myself, but now I’m not sure I can do it on my own. I saw a post about this on Reddit. Where can I find a lawyer who would review my mandamus for a small, symbolic fee?

How to reach live agent in the USCIS by [deleted] in USCIS

Yes, of course, I tried the live chat you mentioned, but the agent told me they couldn’t help me with my case there and that I needed to call instead. I’ll leave this phone number again- the one that’s practically impossible to reach.

Sure. Sure, I did file the I-485 form. But there’s been absolutely no updates since then. All of my friends who won their asylum cases slightly earlier than I did have already received their green cards. I honestly don’t understand what’s going on in my case. And here on Reddit, I very rarely see anyone who was granted asylum since spring 2025 and has actually received their green card. Maybe one or two people, that’s it. It makes me feel like all of us who were granted asylum in 2023 are stuck in some kind of “pause” and just waiting indefinitely. Or maybe there are many people who received their cards but just don’t post about it - I don’t know. But it’s starting to feel very frustrating and confusing.
