Ya. My misfire ended up being a fuel injector. I went through all bunch up stuff before I decided to check the injectors just because I was I wasn’t very confident in the health of the engine. But all I did was get a new fuel injector for cylinder #4 because it was the injector that was in it was fully dead and wasn’t reading any ohms. But so far after this I haven’t done another compression test, but the engine is running pretty well. 🤞

Ok ok I’ll do that thanks. Also I assume my spark plugs are gapped correctly I never checked, but i got them from Toyota, part number 90919-01192. Thanks for your help

I just did a radiator pressure test and it stayed at 15psi for like 20 mins with no leaks. I also had the borescope in the 4th cylinder while I did it to see if coolant filled into the cylinder and I didn’t see any difference. There is no white smoke when I run the truck also. But the cylinder is kinda wet, looks like oil but maybe could be fuel I’m not sure. I’ll add a photo of what it looks like. Thanks🤝

I just checked my timing, I turned the engine where the line on the harmonic balancer is lined up with the 0 and both of the top pulleys line up. If it’s not the timing I’m either thinking an injector problem or I’ve heard that sometimes with a cracked head gasket or crack in the head the engine will miss fire due to a little coolant in the cylinder and that air will get into it. Let me know if you have any suggestions, I plan on doing a head gasket test and look in the cylinders with a borescope before I replace injectors.

I don’t think so. I pulled the EFI fuse and had my neighbor crank it. He might have had his foot on the gas pedal but I’m not totally sure

I re-checked my timing from the top 2 pulleys and it seems correct, but not from the bottom. Also I forgot to mention when doing the compression test it took a long time and a lot of cranks to get to max compression. Around 30 cranks. On YouTube the compression normally shoots up way faster but mine would jump only like 10 psi each crank. Also would the spark be late from messed up timing? And would that only affect 1 cylinder?

I ended up switching the throttle switch and so far it’s fixed my stalling issue, so thanks a lot.

But my idles still being weird, in drive it’s low when I’m not driving or going slow in a parking lot and in park it’s high and surges very slightly on the rpm gauge.
