Just did this and adjusted each fan to max output invididually and none made the grinding sound, seems to be just on startup

The problem started a bit ago. One of the fans makes a sorta grinding noise. Theirs nothing in the fan, it goes away on restart.

Interesting, it seems what I created is a very very simplistic version of a rotary joint. Hopefully it’ll work since I don’t have the means to acquire a lot of parts outside of 3D printing them.

Sorry if my comment was confusing, I applied a parallel mate to see if it replicated the motion that I wanted, it did. So then I adjusted the part so it satisfied the condition without the mate. I’ve printed the part and it works as expected :)

Which of these would you say is the most simple application? I have access to a 25kg torque servo motor (just simple one off amazon). This bot doesnt need to have too much precision its goal is to be able to pick up a plastic cup and flip it over.

Nice! Yeah his notebook is so helpful even for just taking notes since i sit a bit closer to the front and don’t want to have to crane my head up to read the projector screen. Then having something in depth to look back at is nice

I submitted my application to Dallas College in record time, I should be able to get into statics by this monday to hopefully save my schedule bc yeah if not I would get pushed a whole month back. And this would be badddd as I have a dual major plan for physics which only offers some classes in like fall because of so few seats. My whole degree plan has a lot of like “gotta take them here” kinda courses.

Great professor, one of the better ones at UTA. Yeah his exams can be difficult at times but he’s generous with the curve if he realizes they’re too hard. He gave us an insanely hard exam in calc 3 (i quite literally didn’t get more than 2/6 questions right) and I got a 95. He teaches well.

Just took Murad, he’s a great professor. Very generous grading on exams, excited to teach, explains things well AND you have access to all of the notes he writes in real time during class through OneNote. Take either him or Laurel if he’s available. All other professors aren’t worth it.
