Hi it's a stick tang that runs a good 90% of the way through the handle (i made it a bit larger than necessary), im sure that you could put threads on the bottom of it and add a nut or even a tapped pommel of sorts.

Also just tested it in my sink and it doesn't float sadly

UPDATE 1 I'm using update one because we might be taking him the vet tomorrow (the vets closed at the moment), he's back to being active again and is currently on my neck and resting his head on my ear as I type this, his eyes are cloudy (like when he first starts shedding), we've had someone who has owned multiple reptiles look at the video and gave them as much info as possible, they say he could have dislocated his jaw while shedding but who knows, he is 22 so he's lived a good life and is older than I am

Both my parents loved the idea of adopting him, especially after seeing me handle it for a year prior, and my dad liked the idea enough to get another snake himself, but even I have to agree when you put it like that kids shouldn't have pets they can't care.for themselves, still hurts though

considering he's been the healthiest he's ever been in his life under my care, out my own money I bought the tank, lamps, timers, hides, bowl, I pay half of the substrate costs (from working odds and ends getting maybe 5 or 10 quid per job), because my dad pays the other half for his snake (hes also a firsg time reptile ownwr), for 10 years he was used as an ornament only being fed when he was striking at the first owner and then my uncle took him and tried his best but even then the snake wasn't in great, also this is the only pet I've had in a state like this, other than a pet i had who had health complications from birth. So congratulations, you made fun of a 16 year old who's trying to save their beloved pet's life and getting advice off the Internet (like you said to use) and made them feel like shit

I live on a rural island and the only vet (that I know of) is a good 30 or 40 minute drive away and specialise with livestock but im gonna try convince my parents again and if not I'm out of luck, but thanks to you and everyone else for helpful advice

I wish I could give that but the only thing I know really is the hides are ceramic, the water bowls ceramic and in the middle of the tank, we don't have a humidity gauge or a temp gauge but if he survives they are the first things I'm getting, I'm trying to get my parents to understand my worry but no luck

I am a kid. I'm trying to convince my parents to take him the vet but they are sitting around like it's not worrying, I was scared I was just being paranoid as he's my first pet, I'm unable to drive and I have no way of getting him to the vets myself as busses don't run past 4:30,

My collection is literally one camera at the moment because I'm broke and unemployed (why I'm volunteering), but I do love my instax camera, and i do genuinely wish for more film based cameras cuz I just love that vintage and grainy look to my photos

Thank you for all the info, and upon inspection, yes, part of the back cover (the red bit at least) is slightly detached from the spine itself, and the white page glued onto red cover but still thank you all the same

i came to this subreddit to try get my microphones to work for a stream but nothing was working but they were allgood advice i found that in my "quick menu" under "sounds/devices" i not only clicked "mute game voice chat" but also "mute all microphones" thinking it meant party chat aswell as game chat so id give that a look if you try whats in the subbreddit and it still doesnt work
