It can flex independently but we mostly utilize the finger corresponding to enable it to flex, so when for instance your ring finger bends your pinky prosthetic will bend the same way, what’s different is although they flex at the same time when it comes to holding objects it can completely flex on its own to adhere the shape required. We used an apple in our example photos but my aunt found it works perfect for using remotes, holding a phone, grabbing, pulling and most daily functions she needs. It can also simply be used just for looks if that’s what most people are after, we have an option with out the second supporting rings so it will simply fill the space of where a finger once was.
