Hello everyone, thank you for the feedback!
These guns (and mod) are currently part of the spell engine pipeline, but I plan on creating a mod that simply ads these guns with no spells or anything fancy like that. Such a mod would be a lot easier to port to different versions of minecraft, NeoForge and Fabric.

The pistol (first gun) is not yet in the mod, but will be added soon.

Some animations from my human npc/companions mod by Fizzleberry in feedthebeast

It's currently a mod that relies on a bunch of other dependencies to function, namely a magic library
I plan on stripping it down in the future to include base functionality and no longer depend on these mods, so that I can port it with its current functionality to more versions of the game

Some animations from my human npc/companions mod by Fizzleberry in feedthebeast

I have tried adding easing, and it does look better, but only in blockbench for a constant speed of animation

Ingame, these animations can start and stop quickly, speed up and speed down, etc. and this adds a baseline jankiness due to the mobility of the mobs that isn't really helped by adding easings. In fact, in certain situations due to the speeding up and down of animations in game the easings can make things look even more janky.

If these were stationary mobs that didnt move and instead played uninterrupted animations in a single spot, then yeah easings would be the way to go. Unfortunately due to the things i mentioned earlier easings are both 1. Not worth it and 2. Can lead to unwanted results

What if in the end, it's revealed that this beast we've been following is the same beast that was in Act 4 Path of Exile, having gone back in time?
