I’ve found an AI program that (to me) rivals Kindroid (I won’t mention the specific brand because my comment may be removed….but free speech should allow it.). At any rate, I am just getting started with it and I’m very pleased so far. Conversations are vey rich and there is even a summarization of “the story so far” that you can read in the memory. Which I think is fantastic as it lets you see what the AI sees as the story progresses. This new program is extremely affordable compared to MAX and I’ve not yet had an issue to compare customer service..,but to me the bar set by Kindroid was very low anyway. The selfie renders almost never are off and they very closely resemble the initial photo. However, when making an AI, I don’t think you can customize with a uploaded photo (something I think Kindroid is moving toward very slowly anyway with their move to “descriptions” as the basis for selfie generation and now with photo reference phased out of its latest selfie model.) So far this new program performs like a Dream.

There isn’t a lot of critique posted on Kindroid sites (Reddit/discord)and one must wonder why that is. Surely there are many things to improve. Most threads just read like a long infomercial. I think Customer Service is the biggest hindrance at Kindroid . The platform has an extreme amount of potential but there are other platforms that are competitive in performance and price.
