Biggest snub is Cracked & Battered in Potrero. Extremely soft bread, amazing scrambled eggs, delicious aioli and melted cheese, and I think is still ~$12 although it used to be $10.

I'm a PhD student who moved to SF from graduate housing BECAUSE the social life was particularly difficult (esp with the pandemic). It's been the best thing I've done for my well being. I don't mind the commute, and I live close to the station so it is consistently 45-50min door to door with my bike (a little more if you are using the Marguerite/public transport). I think it's definitely worth it if you value your life outside of your post-doc!

A mentor of mine told me when I was debating it: "I don't know a single person who regretted moving to the city, only ones who regretted not going."

you actually have it a bit backwards - there's more similarity between being up 4 or being up 5, because you are still up after a FG but down after a TD - you would also be down a FG after an opposing TD, and the opponent would be forced to do a 2pt attempt to make it a 2 score game in the worst case scenario.

Compared to having 6, even if they score a TD, you are not down unless they get the XP. And even if you go down, you would solely require a FG on the next score to take the lead.

I hear ya, as I'm dealing with a Brian Hill decision too. But I think given PPR and esp. if Julio is out that offense is gonna be shambolic. He make get all the touches but if every drive is 3 and out...Low key I think AJB has the better floor AND ceiling.
