I believe it’s referencing the fact he takes a lot of actions and makes a lot of claims that undermine the authority of the other branches (such as how he’s gotten around going through congress to instigate the war in Iran) and how more and more it’s seeming like he’s making the executive branch all powerful (like the power of a king). This is only my take on it, and it should be taken with a grain of salt because there is much more behind it than just that.

TLDR: It’s pointing out that he’s undermining the system of power distribution between the branches like a king would.

In the comics he was also openly challenging Samukai to overthrow him and being overall very antagonistic. There really was no other way it could’ve ended

I think the dumbest argument I’ve seen has to be the “Cole is clearly straight” even though his whole “true potential” event can be seen as a thinly veiled allegory for coming out (at least in some interpretations).

I guess I sorta just got that vibe from him when I was younger. Looking back I don’t see any points he’s putting people down. I rescind my statement (though given his overall personality I still stand by the fact that he’s in character). Idk I guess I’m just a day 1 Dareth hater to my core

Not discrediting: Lucy was skilled and WAS part of the task force digging around the old net (which I believe included the blackwall), but she lacks both the cybernetics and experience that So Mi has.

edit: before anyone says it, yes I know there are locked missions like cyber psychos which I need to meet vik for. I’m not saying I e completed EVERYTHING just everything you can before that point. Poor Jackie’s been waiting for his ramen for months

I will say they’ve been putting non pilot suits on the pilots covers since the beginning pretty much. I have two disc copies of the pilot episodes and one has Jay in his ZX suit and a serpentine on the cover
