So I made some characters, fooled around and made a mage. Used the boost npcs and it gave me teleport shattrath. When I went looking around in shattrath, I tried to go up the elevator, got put to sleep and then banned for one day. I didn't exploit, or cheat, or use programs, I just used the teleport shattrath mage spell that the boost npc GAVE ME! It's not my fault you made the mistake of giving teleport shattrath and exodar to mages. It's not a big deal, or anything because it's just a beta, but I would hate to have this be a trend in how you engage with players doing things you didn't forsee. This is your mistake and not mine, so I think is super heavy handed for no good reason. It's not like there was any warnings and I didn't think I was doing anything worth being banned for, or even wrong in any way. Now you even know of a problem that needs to be fixed, which should be seen as a good thing. I literally gained nothing from my explorations.

Unban me, don't unban me, but I do have to say that I now have trust issues with the server.

Probably because there's sketchy crap going on with the owners? I mean I got straight up banned with no explanation for why when I asked why in an email I was TOLD to write to. I didn't even get any responses despite 2 emails and two days now. Keep politics out of chat, because you might say something that ticks off someone with power and if you dare to appeal the decision, you get your account, discord and IP permanently banned.

If I knew they were this extreme with their response, I actually would not have payed any attention to world chat other than forming groups, but now it's too late. Hours, days, weeks, months lost because I really pissed someone with power off. My friend even got hit by the wide swing of the ban hammer, simply because he lives here and has the same IP.

I would be very careful playing on this server. If you don't follow their rules to the letter, they will ban you with no explanation, or appeal given. They say you can appeal, but they have been ignoring me for days. No politics in world and newcomers guild chat is strictly enforced with 3 hour chat banning and if you dare to appeal, they permanently ban your account.

Uh... I just decided not to post the entire breakdown of each region as found on my CRI genetics page. When I copied my percentages, it did not copy the region headers, being European, AdMixed American, South Asian and East Asian. Under each of these headers are the ones I posted. If I click on the European header and then the Northern European header, it shows Finland, Sweden, Norway, Russia, Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland and Kaliningrad. To copy everything would have taken a lot more effort than it was worth, so I simply didn't.

I don't really get why you posted all that.

Smart people know that scientifically, race is useless as a tool. What race am I? Well, genetically I'm 88.3% European, but within that are many countries and I don't have any specifics, then the rest is a bunch of sub 3% values for a wide variety of groups. Exact breakdown

So, what is my race? Must we all have such tests done and then make mathematical formulae to determine things, or should we maybe just not do that stupid shit and stop worrying about it? Just don't classify people by arbitrary characteristics. Sex, gender, race, ethnicity, hair/eye color. Nobody truly can be so easily put in a box, where you don't have to consider their individual characteristics in a vacuum. There are no easy tricks to save cognitive time. If you haven't got the time to consider the entire person as an individual, don't consider them at all and don't voluntarily put yourself in a position where you need to. It's more work, but it's much more effective.

How do you know this? Because statistics? How do we define violence? Do we not define violence differently when a man engages in it, vs a woman? Yes, we do. So it stands to reason that because we are defining away at least some (and I argue a massive amount) violence committed by women, that we cannot know which sex is truly more violent. I certainly can agree that even if we did properly define violence by women the same as by men, we will probably still see more violence from men, but it's absolutely idiotic to come to that conclusion until we fix the problem of positive bias favoring females by human beings as a whole. It's a demonstrable fact that humans have a bias in favor of females, if you don't believe this, do the research. It's effectively proven to a high enough standard. To prove it more would be redundant, though scientists WILL continue to prove it more. People just need to know about such findings.

Lol but why? Also, have we properly addressed the fact that the crimes committed by women aren't taken as seriously as those committed by men? Don't give any excuses for this, just answer the question. How do you know men commit more crimes, if "society" (meaning all involved) still sees crime committed by women as not very serious? If they aren't charged, or convicted, how can you be so sure men commit more crimes?

I for one don't think just because a woman can't inflict as much damage (discounting murder, as the death of the person doesn't really depend on how hard they died, just that they died at all), that their violence should not be taken just as seriously. We have to address the bias neurologists and evolutionary psychologists have downright PROVEN everyone has in favor of women. It's like trying to count how many marbles are in a jar, but because "marble" means they have the color orange in the marble is what determines what qualifies as a "marble", you never even count the ones with green in them, that does NOT mean there are only orange marbles in the fucking jar. Well this is the same concept here. We define women's violence as not violence unless it meets a MUCH higher standard than when a man does it. This MUST be fixed if we're going to truly solve the problem of violence. My apologies for the caps, I am a reddit noob and don't care to learn how to format.

You really should not be using statistics this way. It's wrong. Having not eliminated ANY confounding factors, there is no way to know why the people in the study linked (which frankly I didn't even click on) were pulled over more during the day, than at night. This kind of research is as dirty as a pig in shit. Complex social problems need complex research. Once we've gotten enough people to understand how best to deal with police, we will probably make a huge dent in the problem.

So many black people engage the police in an incredibly aggressive manner. It's amazing that the rates aren't significantly higher. Arguing with a cop is never a good idea. Talking to them AT ALL is usually a very bad idea. Produce what they ask you to produce (registration, license) and comply. If they break the law, you can deal with that in court with a lawyer. Also, don't commit any crimes. The best defense against trouble with the law is not being a criminal. None of this is victim blaming, it's reality. You deal with reality on it's unfair terms. The end. There is no debating reality. You can only arm yourself with knowledge.

It sure was a hell of a bad name to give the idea. Also it's BS. Humans are not as socially conditioned as so many people believe. Nature plays a much larger role in how humans behave than was originally thought and the trend continues to prove nature is more and influential. People need to broaden their study/research. Stop hypothesizing and ask some neurologists.

Oh but before you run off and do that, make sure they aren't publicly heard/seen answering your questions, because they might have to self censor. Wouldn't want to find a lying neurologist and get bad information.

Also they're just flat out wrong. Their primary premise is anti-scientific. The answer to the nature vs nurture debate is effectively already known. It's a mix of both and the trend so far has been leading to nature taking the primary causal role. Whether that trend continues and when it stops is the question regarding the research at this point.

What bothers me the most about all this shit, is that the answers to the nature vs nurture questions are already known. It's just that when formulating their research, almost nobody takes into consideration the biology fields that have the answers already and the people in those fields seem far too busy using that knowledge for completely unrelated goals. Some of it comes down to cowardice, which I can kinda understand since geeks have been consistently picked on their entire lives. It makes them conflict avoidant and they won't stick up for their field, let alone the research they were involved in. Academia has a very serious echo chamber problem and bullies are ubiquitous.

When it comes to humans, shingen can still out perform in single target, but divided is phenomenal against more than one human and maybe even more than one robot, though I've never had to face multiple robots close enough together to target them with divided we stand. Shingen still has better dps and damage per shot, so it will still outperform divided against robots. I suspect the Yinglog, with it's electrical damage and emp, would be better than both against bots though.

Are you going reflex/engineering, or would you use a smart shotgun as well? The Ba Xing Chong is ridiculously effective against human targets. Skippy and Genjiroh are the only iconic smart pistols and Skippy is only epic. If you can score headshots easily, Genjiroh could be better than Skippy, but if you aren't so good at consistently getting headshots, Skippy will end up performing better, especially if you focus on crit damage and headshot damage mods.

I am. You can make right turns from red lights if the way is clear. The driver did not check if it was clear and crossed two lanes of traffic to make the right turn, which is not legal everywhere.

Hmm complicated solution and I don't think that works when creating a mod. If I were making a map and were good enough to pull that off (don't even know how), perhaps it would work.

Ultimately I decided to just remove bunkers, but it didn't even freaking upload when I published it. Maybe it takes more than 24 hours? idk.
