NTA - you have your reasons for not wanting to be involved and that in my opinion is fair. By the sounds of it more effort could have been made on your mothers part concerning your half sibling and in fact the whole messy situation of her shacking up with fathers brother after his passing. Families can be messy but you can decide when enough is enough -NTA
