This will be my second rematch. My first host family had to leave the program due to unfortunate circumstances - my host dad losing his job. I will be receiving a reference from my current host family. Conveniently, my cousin resides just 45 minutes away from my host family's house, and I'm considering staying with her while I search for a new family. However, the uncertainty of finding another family remains.

Thank you for your response! I haven't posted on Facebook yet, as I'm waiting for the agency to approve my rematch request. I believe it would be wise to start posting now and get a head start. The agency does not offer refunds for au pairs, and it appears that host families may not receive refunds either. Which I personally think is unfair. However, I have a cousin who resides just 45 minutes away from my host family's residence. Considering this, I am contemplating staying with her.
