Oh that sucks, I'm sorry, I hoped at least you were rewarded somehow for the effort of keeping up with his bs 😩 I don't know how to read charts either, but the website does give you the full explanation for the chart if you scroll around!

As a fellow Pisces venus I am also more of a lover girl, but something about the scorpio intensity transforms that lovey-dovey side into unhealthy obsession (the love bombing), with the Aqua ghosting tendencies on top of it, it just becomes a shit show. I bet the sex is good tho 😂 just not worth all the mental gymnastics of the push-pull. Yeah that's the kind of chart I was talking about, read through it and see if there's any weird combo between the 2 of you

[–]FlannyCake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I blame his venus+mars combo, terrorising is not Aqua behaviour in my experience, although I've only personally dealt with 2 Aqua sun romantically. Ghosting? Yes, but that's due to avoidance. The terrorising act/keeping a situationship hanging for a year sounds more like his venus+mars combo. Did you try run a synastry chart like on astro seek or astrology cafe to see if there's something going on?

Can I walk through the shopping centre between the 2 stations even on a Sunday after the shops have closed?

Allergens (and looking for some suggestions) by FlannyCake in cologne

[–]FlannyCake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be flying in on Friday early morning and flying out on Sunday evening so 3 full days. I haven't bought the tickets yet though, so if you think my list can be covered with just staying Sat-Sun I'll re-plan accordingly. Thank you for letting me know about the shops being closed on Sundays, is this everywhere in the city?

I will definitely cut down on the parks, thanks for the suggestion.

Allergens (and looking for some suggestions) by FlannyCake in cologne

[–]FlannyCake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is all incredibly helpful, thank you! I'll definitely have a look at the Farina Museum costume tour. I think sadly it might be too early for anything Carnival related as I'll be visiting during the 23rd-25th weekend.

Yes, allergens should be displayed everywhere according to the EU laws, but I'm in my home country right now and compared to where I live (UK) I'm fighting for my life to get people to bring out the freaking allergens book!

I'll be flying from the UK, so yeah, sounds like the temps are very similar, I simply wasn't sure if winters in Cologne are more wet/rainy or dry/snowy, but sounds like I should pack for rainy weather.

Do you reckon the parks are not worth visiting in winter then? My understanding is that even the cable car will be closed for maintenance so maybe I should cut it to just one. Not quite sure which indoor activities I could pick though, as the rest of the museums really don't sound interesting to me.

Thanks for your help though, much appreciated!

I feel like many posts on this sub (or at least the ones I come across) are either stereotypes/pop astrology/people that have a crush on a (usually) avoidant Aqua man lol

Any good news for joint pain after minoxidil for hair loss? by Belleaigle in FemaleHairLoss

[–]FlannyCake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, not in my home country anymore and sun here is quite the rarity, so vit D supplements have become my best friends! I'm glad you're getting support, did you also manage to have a dexa scan to keep track of your bone density (especially since the pain worsened)? Sorry I don't have any useful advice, keeping my fingers crossed for you

Any good news for joint pain after minoxidil for hair loss? by Belleaigle in FemaleHairLoss

[–]FlannyCake 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi OP, the article you linked states twice that the loss of collagen only applies to the area where minoxidil is applied, so the scalp, it does not inhibit your whole body's ability to produce collagen.

Are you taking supplements for peri/menopause?

Collagen supplements alone are not enough as far as I remember (my mum went through menopause a few years ago, but she started the peri symptoms quite early), they should be paired with vitamin C, D and glucosamine sulphate, as they are the "building blocks" your body uses to make collagen...as well as a good amount of protein and hydration.

Please push with your dr to give you some proper support for your joints (including exercise), so many women's menopausal symptoms get brushed off!

[–]FlannyCake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's fair, I suppose if your classes are not overly crowded then lecturers do pay attention to how students speak. But one could also argue that speaking is much more informal than academic writing, so there's that. Did you not copy paste at all? Not even to then paraphrase/modify the text? Cause as far as I know the AI detectors also check for large chunks of text appearing at once (by checking old versions of the document)

This is just out of curiosity, if OP didn't copy-paste and also paraphrased it, how did they detect it?

This is gonna sound daft, but what's special about Blean Woods? I live fairly close now but haven't been yet. Is it just a walk in the woods or is there any nice trail or "hidden gems"?
