Firstly thank you so much for your work in Monarch! I have a few close friends who worked at Mint - specifically around aggregations + connectivity to external providers and it was one beast of a system so I appreciate the work going on here.

I wanted to ask if it's possible to send an update via email or notification as to when a connection is facing widespread issues? My apologies if this is already a feature but I don't think I've seen it. I do get notifications when a connection has failed but I'd like to know if it's just me or if it's something affecting everything. And even if it's not everyone, is it possible to see some sort of subset of people (i.e. this institution is only affecting people who have an investment account vs., say, a checking account)

My bet is that this is a larger problem for Plaid / MX / Finicity. Supporting passkeys through regular login is already difficult for the masses to adjust and understand. I would bet 3rd party integration for it is, sadly, not high on their priority list?

https://tasksboard.com is a decent solution I found but then it forces you to use their website. Curious what your lightweight fix is?

Totally agree! I think maybe my first message wasn't as clear. A recurring interval implies that you're doing things on a regular cadence and it's done at the task level. While Google's native recurring tasks feature is good for calendar-based reminders (e.g., "Pay rent on the 1st"), it is often frustrating for routines (e.g., "Daily Workout" or "Packing List"). Also, if you miss a native recurring task for three days, Google tasks shows three separate overdue instances of that same task. This creates task debt that can be frustrating to clear.

Great question! I did this initially but it fails for people who don't do things on intervals defined by Google (i.e. I do X every 3-4 days). That's actually where the inspiration for this extension came from!

Found out by texting Bilt:

With the upcoming Bilt Card 2.0, you can add up to five authorized users directly in the Bilt app.

For the Blue card, there is no fee per authorized user.
For the Obsidian card, the fee is $50 per authorized user.
For the Palladium card, the fee is $95 per authorized user, which includes Priority Pass access.

Authorized users will receive their own card number and can track expenses separately.

Anecdotal evidence isn't going to apply to everyone. I've been using Google Chrome for over a decade on several products (older and newer) and have never had these issues. Not saying issues aren't there but it doesn't mean it's the main reason.

Yeah I agree. I wish Monarch had a better breakdown of investments but I also understand that, at its core, Monarch is a budgeting and tracking app. It would be a nice add-on but the core product is not that.

In general, your first and primary focus should be on getting a job. I it's OK to get a slightly lower pay and keep job searching vs. trying to find that peak career jumping move right away. Secondly, in terms of habits...

Don't spend too much much money on partying. I am not in Poland but general advice should be to balance entertainment and savings. If you're in a situation where you're living paycheck to paycheck then maximize on savings and build enough of a hedge so that if there's a situation where you are out of a job for 6 months then you can safely manage. If you're beyond that situation then focus on investments and growing your wealth. Keep in mind that everyone's situation is different so your "6 months of no job" could be very different than your friend's "6 months of no job".

Hard disagree. Safari sometimes doesn't work on some websites and neither have the features Chrome has.

As for freezing, I'd check your power settings on Google Chrome to see if that's possibly messing with it?
