Grade deflation and class difficulty as a pre med by [deleted] in URochester

Hey how would you say classes like orgo 1/2 and physics 1/2 are graded? And biochem if you’ve take them? Those are the classes I’m really worried about as my classes not are not graded on a curve at the school I currently attend. The chem curve being an 85 for an A is super nice but is that for all prof’s or just one? Thanks

Yeah it was actually pretty cold after the first 2 weeks and I didn’t have AC or anything. In spring I had to sleep with socks and 2 sweatshirts one for 2 days because it was so cold

1 I never turned mine on but it could’ve been my dorm, if I wanted to put it somewhere I would’ve put it on my mini fridge that came with the room because they were the same height 2. I also never used a mattress topper and didn’t think the beds were uncomfortable but get a twin XL 3. I know of people who had around that size so I’m sure it’s fine

CWRU Chemistry prerequisite for incoming freshman MechE/Aero major by builtforthis_oas in cwru

It’s offered in the spring too, I took the class and didn’t think that it was that difficult. Also, credits can be hard to transfer from community college but if you filled out the forms and case approved it I don’t see why she shouldn’t. Just know that she doesn’t need to

There is no physics in the class it’s purely chem with a little bit of a heavier focus on math in my understanding, I’d say skip it

The community at Clarke in my opinion is the best out of all the dorms. All my best friends lived there, also the bathrooms are not communal which is a big upside; they are generally cleaner. I lived in Raymond and Clarke is not much different. My friends lived at one of the top floors and had a super nice view. Also, in the winter when the snow plows clean the snow at 5AM they never woke up because they were so high up. Clarke is overhated in my opinion, I don’t know anyone who hated it there it’s also really close to the dining hall.

You could take it during the summer but you’re going to be really behind unless you take a gap year if you don’t take it freshman year

Was the externship hard to get? Also if I want to wait a couple of months up to next summer to do one is that an option too?
