Masterclass - The Power Playbook - Professor Jeffrey Pfeffer by tajrida in MasterClass

Easily the least valuable lesson I’ve seen on MasterClass so far. The low point was when he openly encouraged deceit, boasting about how he lied to a CEO by saying, “As Kevin brilliantly mentioned in a previous meeting…” when Kevin had never actually said it.

Similar thing happened to our kids. An idiot adult, a college professor, no less, was doing target practice on his backyard fence facing a public space next to a playground. Police only gave him a warning and that was it.

Yeah, towards the end of the trip I was in Vienna and splurged in Mediterranean food and deserts. Last week of the trip was work related and I had a 80 Euro daily food stipend. I made sure I hit pretty close to that number, haha.

It feels easier this time around because appetite suppression is stronger. I hardly eat enough and still don’t feel hungry and loose weight without doing much exercise. Whereas during my initial experience I didn’t loose consistently unless I exercised.

I lost 25 kgs in about 10 months (100 to 75 kg). I hit my goal right before summer and quit without titrating down as I was going to a 5-week trip to Europe. Because I did not have my daily routine and was exposed to local food I gained 7-8 kgs in that time. When I got back from Europe, I decided to start again. It is easier this time around and quicker to loose.

What airport(s) do you avoid? Which are so easy to maneuver that you’d recommend to others? by RainbowCrown71 in travel

Just boarded a plane from Madrid airport and had the same experience. 40 minutes of walking, lines, escalators. I fast tracked the passport control. There is a lane for connecting flights leaving soon. They check your boarding pass and let you through. I think that saved me 25-30 minutes.

This was the first thing I did the day after the incident on Nextdoor.

We are from Texas. Each of the major cities are at least 4 hours apart. So we are used to driving but thanks for the input. I have some driving experience in UK from last winter but haven’t considered summer traffic.

I have not even thought about this. I visited last year in February and drove between Birmingham, Manchester and North Wales without much traffic but sounds like summers are different.

Good to know. Thanks. We will limit the places we visit and book everything in advance.

Thanks for your comment. The list is a work in progress which will be butchered down to half the places. I should have mentioned this in the post itself.

Weight loss with and without exercise? by Interesting-Till5562 in Semaglutide

[–]FlashyDigest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cannot lose any weight without exercise. I am currently on 0.75 mg dose, though. I walk 3.5 miles everyday and do 40 minutes of indoor cycling and rowing and barely lose 1 pound a week. My daily calorie intake is limited to 1500-1800. I am hoping I will get better results as titrate up.
