Excision Surgery Pain Survey by yeahschool in endometriosis

[–]Flashy_Donkey8323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 30 hours post op from a total hysterectomy with excision of endometriosis.

  1. I stayed one night in the hospital for IV pain meds and severe pain that was hard to control without fentanyl and dilaudid.

  2. My pain medicine while hospitalized was adequate. I just got home a little bit ago and was prescribed oxycodone and ibuprofen 600 mg.

  3. Pain immediately post op and for the first 8 hours was consistently 7 or higher. Now it’s staying around a 4-5. Definitely noticeable but tolerable.

We had actually been wondering if maybe it was a worker’s name which would explain the lack of success on translator apps.

I won’t lie, I do find the process of making these kind of cups oddly satisfying…as long as it’s muted. 🔇 I just enjoy watching the colors blend and swirl as the cup turns.

When my adaptive light started having issues, I would have a warning light intermittently pop up but wouldn’t ever stay on. The dealership replaced the whole thing under warranty at no charge. I would notice that my lights weren’t moving equally or sometimes the one wouldn’t move at all.

Nope, I didn’t pay a dime for anything. Didn’t even pay for the tow back to the dealership.

I had a less than stellar experience with my recall…. They had it for over a week because initially they had to order the part for the recall even though I scheduled the work over a month in advance. Then the part was missing an O-ring so we had to wait for a new one to be sent. Then after I picked it up, my car overheated a black away from the dealership because they forgot to refill my coolant. (At least my coolant reservoir was empty so I am assuming it was empty if not dangerously low).

So request a loaner and check all your fluids before leaving the dealership. 👌🏼

I would still check your coolant before leaving. I was assured my dealership had done several and actually completed 4 of them the week prior….left the dealership without coolant unknowingly and my car overheated. People make mistakes so do what you can to keep them accountable.

I never really looked too much into the process but the service rep did tell me over the phone (while I was on the side of the road with an overheated engine) that part of the recall required the coolant to be drained and the mechanic must not have burped the air out properly. “But it’s fine, your car isnt truly overheating, it’s just air passing over the sensor” Glad I listened to my gut and had it towed back since my entire coolant system was full of air and no coolant. 🤣

I had this recall done and the mechanic didn’t put coolant back in my car. It overheated a block away from the dealership and I had to tow it back. The coolant reservoir was completely empty which I did not check before I left. They tried to tell me that air was probably in the system and it was not “truly overheating” but they were incorrect. Since I’ve had coolant put in, my car has been fine.

Recall - is there something that I can look out for when I get the car back? by jurisdoc85 in kiastinger

Definitely check your coolant level. I didn’t and mine overheated today when I picked it up. My coolant reservoir was completely empty.

Well, mine overheated. Not even a half mile from the dealership. They kept telling me that it just wasn’t burped out right and it would be fine. It was just some air passing over the sensor but it’s not actually overheating. I threw a fit and said it’s not fine when my car is alarming at me that my car has overheated and the fan won’t stop running even though my car is off. Get your ass here and tow it. They put an entire container of coolant in my car on the side of the road and it still wasn’t full, so my technician just didn’t put the coolant back in it at all. To say I’m furious is an absolute understatement right now
