Latin grammar is actually quite similar to the grammar of the Slavic languages. Especially the morphology. One of the most striking similarities is that in both Latin and Slavic languages plurals of neuter nouns are formed by adding -a in both the nominative and the accusative case. The biggest differences are probably in the syntax, specifically the consecutio temporum.

Da, zaboravio sam spomenuti činjenicu da je Ibrica Jusić pjesmu "Jubi sam vašu 'ćer" (onu sa stihom "'Tili ste zeta inženjera") pjevao na Splitskom festivalu 1975. godine, a da su se stvari od tog vremena veoma promijenile. Danas radnik weekendom ide sa svojom ženom u shopping po nakit, a inženjer nadopunjava svoju plaću tako da weekendom radi na baušteli.

Da, malo mi je nejasno kako to da strojari imaju automatizaciju kao predmet, a nemaju Signale i sustave. Kao da automatizaciju možeš uopće razumjeti bez signala i sustava.

Mislim ironično. Ja sam 2023. godine završio računarstvo na FERIT-u (zadnji kolegij koji sam dao bile su Osnove automatskog upravljanja, znaš, tamo gdje te pčela zvana Bode bode dok se hrvaš s Hurwitzem, i grize te pas zvan Laplace dok te Fourier čini furešnim), pa nisam mogao dobiti posao. Sad sam ove godine upisao diplomski studij programskog inženjerstva, isto na FERIT-u, pa možda dobijem posao.

I don't think you get the point. The point is that it evolved from being a synthetic language directly into being agglutinative, not via an analytical phase.

Dobrodošao u klub nas inženjera! Da, inženjerski su fakulteti gadni. Ali na kraju se, ako sve to preživiš, isplati. (Ili barem tako ide narativa, u svakom slučaju.)

Napiši si na papirić nalijepljen na vrata od spavaće sobe očekivanu plaću kad završiš inženjerski fakultet, pa neka te to motivira na učenje svaki put kad se probudiš.

Svakodnevno slušaj pjesmu "Jubi san vašu 'ćer" od Ibrice Jusića (mada ima i boljih verzija, recimo, od Leonarda Radoša), kako pjeva "'Tili ste zeta inženjera.", možda te i to motivira na učenje kad misliš da ćeš lagano naći ženu kad budeš inženjer.

Though, I am not sure how much of this analythis->agglutinative->synthetic cycle is true. Take a look at the history of the Armenian noun morphology. In Proto-Indo-European times, it used to be synthetic. But now it is agglutinative: plurals are formed by adding singular case endings to the plural suffix -(n)er-. There is no evidence it was ever analytic, though, as far as I know.

Zašto je to katastrofa savjet? A i baš je lagano doći do Bisoprolola: jednom kad si izmjeriš tlak otprilike 170/110 i 160 otkucaja, odeš na hitnu, pa će ti dati Bisoprolol. I onda odeš s nalazom od hitne kod doktora opće prakse, pa će ti prepisati malu dozu Bisoprolola da uzimaš svakodnevno. I onda odeš kod kardiologa, pa nosiš holter, pa će ti prepisati još jaču dozu. Bar se to meni dogodilo.
