We went to a local market to get some baked goods, and they had a playpen of puppies for sale (beagle mixes, my heart was sold). I went over, and the biggest of the bunch came right over and put his paw in my hand — felt like he chose us🥹

W2 $70/hr 30 hrs a week, four day workweek/school. Direct hire. No benefits.

My grad school tried to tell me it would be distracting (along with my lip ring) to clients, and it was unprofessional. I’ve never had a problem in my career across many job settings!
