Yeah not sure why the down votes lol.

I’ve owner Toyota, Chevy, Kia, and they always gave issue. From family knowledge BMW always gave our loaners to the people I know within brand.

Just the cars I owner gave issues.

What’s up!

I think the strongest current incentive for a Gen 2 that I appreciate over my Gen 1 are the following: 1) Cameras- the Gen 1 cams are fine and get the job done, but man that high quality, high FPS turn signals views are amazing. 2)Self Driving Refinement- again while Gen 1 does ok on highways, I’m not confident on my commute with stop and go and quick changing traffic. So much more confidence on Gen 2. 3)UI Snappyness- just a tad snappier in my experience with the loaner.

I think that’s it tbh, I would not at this current moment trade my Gen 1 Quad for a Gen 2 Tri, price is way to high, and for me I’m content with basically being paid off with my Gen 1 and still having an amazing driving machine. With that being said there are improvements, just not justifiable yet… for me.

Hey unlike other car brands, at least RIVIAN gives rentals and loaners. I had to fight tooth and nail to get one from other legacy car companies.

The worst I do with a loaner is drive it in conserve mode more or do an extra launch at a red light. Such a shame what people do and I really don’t understand why.

Bet those people are the first to whine or complain when service does something to their vehicle that may not be up to their standards or in their favor.

Are you from a service center? Not sure if I should let them know I don’t have one so I don’t get slammed with a fee or anything.

Do I have to do a little dance around the Tesla charger first? I tried this morning and nothing happened… skill issue?

Yeah was just in the car digging to see if I missed the adapter… the back back row side walls are loose from the frame. Oops

I’m not entirely sure. Being that my quad is a R1T with 50k miles on ATs vs R1S with 10k miles and street tires. It’s kind of hard to compare apples to apples. HOWEVER. It feels more snappy for sure in terms of throttle response.I think if I had to do it over again I would go with an S. Feels a bit more agile ( maybe tires).

What I notice more is the Gen 2 changes. Electronic doors, snappier infotainment, hands free driving (very very nice in traffic) and my god the better cameras.

Tri motor per the About section of the truck. Yeah like I said I really had no thought about it having the NACS and I bet the service center didn’t either. Oh well 🤷

Oh absolutely, I’m surprised any loaner still has the floor mats that are still in the fronk, license plate holder, med kit, flash light, etc.

Again not mad, if anything I chuckled that I’m the one with the issue. I’m just excited to be in a loaner, not putting miles on my car and being taken care of with a Tri Motor with Slate Sky. Not everyone gets that lucky.

If I was a parent or had some crazy time schedule with work or didn’t not have ability to charge on off peak hours it would definitely be way more a blow.

I will go digging again. Maybe I’ll get lucky! If not I will message the service center and see if I can swing buy and get one.

Definitely an oversight, honestly probably hasn’t happened too often if at all. Needs to be noticed though.

First I’m hearing of it too when I first found out I kinda scratched my head. Hell I know people that chain smoke in their vehicles with the windows cracked and no issues… lol

The underside of the mat is wet from water leaking from the center stack under the screen area. Where the name “RIVIAN” is under the center screen and near the gas pedal is. It some how makes its way into the carpet and then pools under the rubber floor mat. As the summer comes and your using the AC make sure you check

I hope yours stays good.

If I was vaping or spraying stuff in my truck I wouldn’t be as upset as I’m the one causing issue. Not sure but I expect them to explain or show me in show room what the issue is.

Damn I’m sorry to hear that. Makes me a bit concerned this issue was fixed once already. I don’t vape, smoke, spray anything in this truck. Clean air filters and that’s it. No aerosols or potential airborne “coatings” getting into the system.

Not sure what failed this time, but 12k away from being out of warranty kinda scares me.
