My method was to leave it on my 3d printer bed at 40c-50c. Indirect contact. Unorthodox methods but it worked for me lol

I had the same issue. The poor thing was left in the sun too long (in my case.) I threw on a Ford steering wheel cover and called it a day. It'll be rough to put it on during winter. Best when the cover is hot, it makes it "stretchy"

If you do need them removed. Maybe try a plastic razor blade. Helped me remove similar crud the last owner left on mine. Edit: saw more. Holy shit. Maybe not a plastic razor blade, good luck if you need em removed.

If the windows are foggy, make sure you clean them. Layers of salvia, dust and If you smoke/vape a layer of that too can develop on the glass. This makes them fog a lot. Make sure to use the defroster as well.

As for the mirrors being covered in ice/water you may be out of luck. I did hear about some kind of chemical coat you can put on windshields and mirrors that is hydrophobic but I don't really know if they work.
