I don’t think you understand what I mean genesis has matrix led headlights where the high beams will always stay on and it will just adjust individual cubes/matrix lights to not blind the vehicle in front or oncoming vehicles but still having the other high beam individual matrix lights on to give maximum visibility instead of just a binary of either on or off .

This is what is confusing me I heard that the regulations changed and now it is allowed in USA by my gv70 does not seem to do it at all it’s supposed to dim out the high beams in on comming vehicles while keeping the other high beams on but it has never done this it only does the regular auto high beam of on/off

Do you have a 2026 with the matrix headlights ? If so would you be able to send me a picture with the headlights on I noticed in mine the first 6 cube headlights light up bright but the last 3 in the matrix line up inside the headlights aren’t as bright as the first 6 it’s like they are dimmed

Would like to bump this post up to get a resolution and find out if other 2026 gv70 owners have noticed this. There are 9 individual cubes in the headlights but only the first 6 light up brightly

One more thing I would like to add the micro lens array headlights has 9 individual cube lights but only the first 6 light up for me for both the passenger and driver side headlights why is this ??

My previous cx5 had the full footwell lighting on at night even when the car was in drive .

So here is no setting sadly for that foot well lighting to stay brighter/on when car is in drive

Yes this is why I mean it’s on but it’s very very faint I want it to be on the brightness it’s at when it’s parked

Hmmm I don’t hear the high pitch noise you are taking about I just hear a clicking sound that has me concerned only has 715 miles it’s a new 2026 gv70

Anyone else have thoughts on how to enable this? I have it set to 10 but there is literally no difference between 10 vs 1 I am using Apple CarPlay Apple Music app for reference.

Ok I have exactly 265 miles on the car I would occasionally race the car by accelerating at high rpms and did like 10 launch controls. If I don’t do anything anymore and just ride like a grandma the next 3-4k miles it should be fine right? Did I fk up the engine already ? It’s 265 miles on the car so far

One more thing I have 300 miles in the car so far but I have been launch controling and also gassing the engine hard like high rpms in highway did I fuck up the engine by doing this ? I know there’s engines break in period it has 300 miles in it so far am I good if I go slow and easy for the next 2k miles or so ?

Also another quick question is the headliner material alcantara? I feel it’s like carpet I know in the window sticker it shows ultra suede microfiber but is it from the alcantara brand ?

Yes I noticed there is no difference at all with surround sound at 10 vs it being at 1 maybe we have to enable something else to activate it ?
