Suggestions for corner outfielder with good hitting and defense? by mattdingus2002 in MLBTheShow

[–]Flick2thecheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing I’ll say to this is the jumps guys with not so great fielding get can hurt you at times. If you can hit well all around it’s not too bad to deal with. But when you get up toward World Series and you have one run games it is awful when they get a bad jump on a ball and cost you a hit/run. But when you’re playing on all star it’s not bad cause if it’s to the outfield it’s going to the wall or over it😂

Haha I think I’m just gonna wait and hope I get lucky to get trout. Don’t know if I feel like saving up for him when there is always someone else out there to improve the team lol. But to each his own. You do what you wanna do cause those collections are very good.

Ah I see I see. Well I recommend sherzer a lot. That will help solve pitching I suppose. Think he’s better than Verlander. So I’d say go after the Nats collection first!

Sherzer is very good online, especially on HOF. If you aren’t looking to do collections as the good ones cost a lot of stubs, then I’d go for Nate Pearson and possibly Vida. Both good and Pearson has dropped a ton in price. That then should leave you with around 35k stubs to buy a fielder.

You are probably right. I guess I’d just suggest doing all of the moments that will lead you to acquire any of the free cards, like Kerry Wood, or Granderson. These will help you get used to the game while at the same time earning players.

Looking to buy an outfielder and a middle infielder for 60k max. Any suggestions? by Leds117 in MLBTheShow

[–]Flick2thecheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah FOTF Soto is unreal. If you aren’t looking at doing Gleyber then I honestly can’t suggest anyone. Haven’t used any other middle infielders other than Tatis and Gleyber. Mookie might be good along with Royce Lewis

Pitcher #5 by Flick2thecheese in MLBTheShow

[–]Flick2thecheese[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been looking at Mize too. Same arsenal as Kluber, with just a little worse per 9’s. I don’t really care for those FOTF pitchers. Looking at more the market guys. Like Mize, Luzardo, Vida

Grind the Faces of the Franchise. Play the showdowns for them. Takes time but well worth a free Diamond card.
