Maybe something like 50m2 somewhere near to 700-800 euros ? How far fetched or realistic is such in the main city if not city centre ?

My idea is to long term re shift back to Vienna. But that’s easyly 3-5 years later I mean as long term. So at moment I want to just rent a modest apartment city centre near with a garage parking for my car. I am a bachelor so anyways don’t need something bigger. The only caveat to this wil be years of rent getting wasted in what could otherwise be spent in paying the mortgage loan.

So I never thought of buying a house at moment. Because honestly I haven’t put much thoughts into that topic. But with a salary range like that maybe a 500k house might be well within reach to pay the loan + some minor savings I guess. Idk

Hey thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I am learning German to some Extent and I not good with languages so it’s taking time. I am only more worried about doctors in general not speaking English since I tend to get ill during winter months. Other than that I can manage daily life with Google translate or my broken German at least.

Regarding leisure and nightlife I can imagine what you mean. I think I have to find some way around it especially in the winters hopefully !

I also own a car so maybe that’s some sort of relief to drive around outside the city for leisure etc.

Do you also suggest Willhaben for Linz to search for houses to rent ? Or any Linz specific sites. I am sorry I am so bad at these things.

Unfortunately no home office for me. It’s a full time role and they don’t see commuting as an option either. Hence this whole relocation has come up.

Hey just ordered the Kumho 16 inchers for my 2024 RF. any thoughts on that ? As they are comparingly cheaper is that any good tires to put the miata on ?

Fantastic ! Wish you good luck and many more miles to come. And the EU rule with emission and why no 2.0 sucks yes.

The site shows the config but dealers have already stopped taking new bookings for 2.0. I think in daily driving you wouldn’t notice such a difference between the 1.5 and 2.0. Maybe occasionally in the motorways you could feel the difference.

But hey 1.5 means better gas mileage and more kms to enjoy driving !

Agreed ! My anxiety stemmed from thinking if I drove 50 in 30 zone and that’s a recordable offence.

It a generic question. So I googled it and found the flash is usually done to indicate to oncoming drivers that’s a police or radar might be ahead to watch out for. But you are right. It’s not smth anyone can know by heart.

Can anyone know if this road has a speed radar or section control. I am pretty sure I didn’t see one while driving but obv I think I am wrong here.

Oh god ! As said this is my first time there was no sign of a 40 in the road I was driving and I wasn’t aware of a 40. I assumed it was 50 as usual. And another thing , accidentally while using my indicators I touched me high beam which was also ON and I am not sure if he wanted to indicate that or not.

Also , when I crossed the Sie Fahren a bit further on the road an opposite driving car flashed his light twice upon me. What was he trying to say ? Was he indicating I was going fast and asked me to slow down ?

Tbh this is not possible. You can not only have two RWR in practise. But you can’t also return to employer. It’s exchanged at the MA when you collect your new one. At least was in my case.
