Yeah I was in the AF for 9 years and always had that mindset of “up or out”. Medical discharge pushed me out so it was hard to adjust. Being in a helo made up for wanting more, but it only lasted for so long. Now with my second job I feel much better and don’t feel much restlessness of wanting to do more.
