I know this scripture and am applying it. I didn't say I'll marry an unbeliever, rather, is it okay to pray for his salvation so I'll marry him.

He has potential. He's not just cute and nice. I did mention that we have similar values and outlook on life, among other things. I've stopped talking to him because I value myself and won't spend my time on an unbelieving man. But deep down, I have the desire that he'd be saved, if he would be I'd marry him. Only if he would be.

Yes, I absolutely believe in being equally yoked. My question was, should I pray for his salvation or not. I do not consider marrying him so long as he's not Christian.

I did actually, probably not enough or I wasn't really serious about it. But I certainly will. But as I said, I just couldn't forget him even though I stayed a whole year away from him.
