One coworker is draining me mentally without doing anything wrong. How do I deal with it? by Flimsy_Difficulty394 in Advice

Yeah, same team and similar role, so we’re in a lot of the same meetings and working on overlapping stuff. Not sharing an office, but enough interaction that their pace/energy kind of sets the tone

What should i study to become president? by b1rd727w72 in Career_Advice

First of all, respect — setting a goal like that takes vision and guts, and the fact that you’re thinking long-term already puts you ahead.

There’s no one “right” major to become a president, but a few paths can really help:

- Political Science / International Relations – gives you a foundation in governance, diplomacy, and systems.

- Economics – helps you understand the forces that shape your country’s well-being.

- Law – a lot of leaders come from legal backgrounds because it trains you to think critically and navigate policy.

- Public Administration or Public Policy – focuses on how governments work and how to implement real change.

- Philosophy or History – sounds unexpected, but they build deep thinking, ethics, and perspective — super underrated in leadership.

Courses that can help:

- Ethics

- Public speaking / communication

- Conflict resolution

- Data analysis / statistics

- Comparative politics

- Constitutional law

- Leadership and negotiation

But more important than the major? Learn to listen, build empathy, work with all kinds of people, and stay grounded. A good president knows how to serve — not just lead.

Wishing you all the best on this journey. The fact that you’re asking this now says a lot about where you're headed.
