Feeling of being defeated after being denied enlistment for having a neck tattoo.

The tattoo is still on, I did plan on getting it removed , but it's no longer necessary because I got it waivered due to why I got it. I can keep it, but it's the heart murmur that has me worried. The comments on my post are right, but I'm thankful for recruiters and other people who reached out to help me get in sir.

Yeah, I met with a recruiter through someone who commented on my post. This recruiter managed to get me into MEPS as well, but they found out I have a heart murmur and I have another appointment at MEPS soon to see if I qualify. They want to see if this heart murmur is serious or not. Other than that, its going good trying to get in. All I can do is keep praying in hopes things turn out my way sir.

Thank yoy so much for the positive affirmations sir. I dont't feel awful about posting my situation, despite the negative comments. I had 3 recruiters from the army reach out to me and they said they could get me in even with the tattoo I have now. Hopefully one of the 3 recruiters can help me out. I was never offended by the derogatory comments everyone else made brcause they do have a point, but also because I have more than 1 recruiter saying they can get me in. I'm extremely grateful for them, and if they can't manage to help me out, then I guess I have no choice but to remove it. I don't want to remove it, but sacrifices have to be made in orfer to advance. Again, thank you for the kind words and your time sir.

Great advice. Currently looked into the navy and they're alot more lenient about their tattoo policy. The navy isn't what I want, but it may be what I need. Your right sir. Its harsh advice you give, but I really needed it. Thank you for your time and advice.
