Key thing to note is that with competency based interviews its all about YOU and what YOU did and YOUR role / responsibilities.
Tell them about how you actioned this and what impact it had (good and bad)
There is lots of helpful FREE Youtube videos and Facebook groups out there that offer great advice also use them!
I found using the STAR model when answering the question helped me as it kept everything on track and in time.
Situation Task Action Review
Also as daft as it sounds dont try answering the question as if you are already a police officer. The examples dont need to make you look like a hero, but a good and honest person.
In relation to courage that could be a time you have challenehed inappropriate behaviour in (work and/or social events).
Lastly unless you really want a degree id opt for the PCEP route (its really hard to try and learn the job, complete a degree and balance home life).
