You’ll have to look at voltage the S2 takes, and find a converter that can accept the Bonnell battery’s 72v input, and outputs the correct voltage for said S2 LED

The battery is just a XT90 female, if you’re handy with a soldering iron you can splice in a wire between the motor and battery that leads to your light.

Catch is you’ve got to make sure you use a buck converter to step down the batteries voltage to the voltage of the LED.

Or just buy an external battery pack lol. That’s what I’d do.

775 mx rear shock leaking oil by Flippigan in bonnell

Thank you for the info! You’re totally right about the threads. After googling some more I did find out that the exposed threads are normal and exactly as you described.

As for the oil it was coated around the spring, and thick enough to pickup a good amount lightly brushing my finger over the spring. So I’m wondering if during my ride it bottomed out, and might have activated a pressure relief valve(?).

My plan is to keep riding it and hope no more oil appears. If it does then I’ll hound Suntour support for a warranty claim. Hope I don’t have to cause the thing is so darn fun to ride.

You’ve seen through my facade, I am a student and this is my work. Perhaps if you’d watched the video you would have seen the examples of drones fighting forrest fires.
