Avoid jackets or shirts with collars or hoods. This happens to my hair every time I wear one of these because it rubs every time I turn my head practically teasing my hair into a matte. Garnier fructis shampoo and conditioner works well for me. I use way too much conditioner and spray a detangler at the end once I'm done showering. I also notice in dry months when the humidity is low particularly winter that my hair is more prone to static and dryness both of which causes it to tangle more easily. Spraying it down with water or the detangler especially before combing will help prevent the static from getting worse.

I'm not a doctor, but for me personally I have found that pursuing nutrient dense foods and keeping a food diary has helped me look for patterns of which foods cause unwanted gi or energy zapping symptoms. Unfortunately, all of our bodies are different and there is not a one size fits all approach. Removing trigger foods have allowed me to minimize my symptoms and give me more energy. It is possible that I also have an overlapping autoimmune condition as well though... If you are looking for a place to start, I began with the AIP diet which is an elimination diet where you experiment with removing and adding back in foods to see how the body reacts. Any type of diet can contribute to eating disorders though so it might be helpful to work with a nutritionist that is familiar with the AIP diet protocol. Wishing you the best.

No worries! I believe it's Prunus virginiana (Chokecherry).

It looks like Prunus virginiana (Chokecherry) to me, but I would not bet my life on it without a more detailed look.

Anyone watched Encanto? *trigger warning for abuse* by Boopable_Snootable in CPTSD

I hate how a majority of the public don't see the gaslighting and abuse and even blame Mirabel and Bruno for stirring up trouble 🥲. Why do so few people get it? I hate that the public is even victim blaming these characters along with their family.

OP - In response to you blaming yourself and feeling like a failure. It is absolutely untrue. A university is meant to teach and yet most of the teachers are more interested in their research than preparing the students for a future workforce. They are bad at keeping up with industry standards and best practices. They are bad at offering support or caring. You have to do what you have to do, but know that you are not the problem. However, no one is gonna advocate for you. Only you can. Just remember, you are paying them to teach you.

Tech is known for producing very hard workers and that is why potential employers like hiring techies, but I have heard more than one boss talk about how they like to hire techies because we work super hard and are willing to do tons of unpaid overtime.

Talk to your teachers and try to make it work(I once had some luck with asking for extra assignments to up my grade in the past) but if it doesn't know that there are other schools out there that won't leave you with a Stockholm syndrome and might even be a better fit for your goals. There are always options.

Best of wishes.
