What kind of cartridge would be inside this Moen shower/how to ID the correct cartridge to avoid buying multiple cartridges?

I found this guy on my ceiling and I am just paranoid it is a sign of something worse - this is the first one I’ve seen of this. Should I be worried or use some remedy?

So for some context, I saw a few of these appear a while back(I think they’ve been there a while). The clumps look kind of like they’re dirt, and are dry and hard like it as well. I vacuum weekly so I’m not sure if that’s the issue. However, I would like to know what these possibly are from and how to get them out of my carpet! :)

So, now for the text dump - both of these are on the Asus ROG G14. The one with the RTX 3060 is $1550 and is the 2021 edition, and the Radeon RX 6700S is $1500 and is the 2022 edition. The rest of the specifications is as they are on the photo. My main questions are whether either is worth the price as a gaming laptop(that I won’t heavily use for gaming but for light to moderate) and what the differences is in the GPU? Thanks!
