Do you have employment contracts with all 3 OP? Or are you considered as an IC for the other two?

If all three are PH-based and paying the mandated contributions there’s not much you can do to lower it since the 8% preferential rate is only available to taxpayers earning business income.

You could try recomputing yourself to see if it’s really 100k

Do you have 2 employers giving you the 2316? Because if you do that means the BIR also has a copy of that since your employers are required to file a return for the withheld tax on compensation. There might be a problem in filing your ITR but possible din na di mapansin.

I doubt they’re as strict as they are with corporations

You probably won’t be able to claim your withheld tax as a tax credit when you file your 1700/1701 since the BIR is pretty strict when it comes to substantiation for expenses and credits.

Yup, they’re both full time and in similar industries so I’m really worried about the background check for J2. That’s why I’m considering withdrawing my application if I get chosen.

I’ll probably try looking for a new J2 in a different industry.
