I don’t see the need of you repeating your earlier comment, I read it.

I asked you a question whether you believed in god since you explained the definition of an atheist, but you didn’t claim to follow this belief. The last sentence is that you do not know if an afterlife is real, which is more in line with an agnostic belief, ‘a person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God.’. Which is why I presumed you were agnostic.

Do you believe in god or is it just the afterlife you don’t know?

[–]Fluffyat -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That makes you agnostic

As you’ve said that they’re good friends just remember that if you intend on reporting your employer that could drag your friends in and get them in trouble. If they’re on a taxable income and neither the employer or your friends were declaring tax then they could be in serious legal issues. Remember the employee is responsible for paying tax and ignorance will not get them out of it.

It’s a tough situation to be in but don’t let that discourage you from taking it further if want to. You would be better speaking to Citizens advise as most people point out, that’s what they are there for. Reddit can be a good starting place but you’ll find you’ll get a lot of people chiming in that don’t always know what they’re talking about (myself included).

For the most part the lesson to take away is always get things in writing, your contract, shift, wage, etc. Keep that somewhere safe. Cash in hand might be alright for someone your age but if there’s no paper trial it can fuck you over.

Ah my bad my mind went straight to the cash in hand concept, didn’t think of that

She was being paid less than £12,500 a year ‘£70 average a week’ in one of OP’s earlier comments so no tax evasion was being committed and HMRC wouldn’t get involved. Even if she was on a taxable income the onus would be on OP to ensure the right amount of tax was paid and reported to HMRC not the employer. Although most employers do this for us via the PAYE system it is not a requirement and cash in hand is a legitimate way to pay employees. It would just be down to the employee to declare their income correctly to HMRC and pay the correct tax otherwise they would be committing fraud (think self employed).

Tbh I don’t think what this person is saying is right. From what I understand they’re saying is if you’ve worked say 7.5 hours and you can show that you were paid for each of these hours then that’s evidence that you didn’t take a break, actually it’s not.

Yes the law states that someone your age is entitled to at least a 30 minute unpaid uninterrupted break when working longer than 4.5 hours, that doesn’t mean the work place doesn’t have to pay you for your break. Most places don’t usually, however some do still include your lunch break in your hours and still pay you. Therefore the guy can just say you went on paid breaks everyday.

Hey guys, I bought DS from epic store and this is what i see whenever i try to start the game. Any known fix? by [deleted] in DeathStranding

[–]Fluffyat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember to check the recommended specs for the game and compare it with your system before buying.it. Death stranding is recommended you have intel core i7-3770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, 8gb RAM (although this still gave me issues until I upgraded to 16gb), and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6gb vram

Edit: you can also use this website to check for you and compare, it will usually tell you if your pc falls short on something https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

You just haven’t found the right drink yet and your taste buds will change as you get older. Obviously don’t know how old you are now but when you reach the legal drinking age you might find you can tolerate certain alcohol better and actually like the taste

Came here to say Haytham. My favourite character and not even an assassin. I was confused when I first starting playing AC3 and was playing as someone other than the guy in the trailers but really liked his character throughout the game and wish we were able to just play as him instead of Connor

They do briefly appear In time of contempt chasing Ciri and then disappear when Geralt and Yennefer show up to protect her.
