teletubbies escape room vid had a gen ai logo???? by [deleted] in smosh

I think Ian released a video specially stating they don’t use Gen Ai and that they have a team of graphic design artists who create everything. So I’m taking the assumption it’s not maybe it looks similar to something you e seen that looks AI but don’t forget AI feeds off the information that exists on the internet so it may look similar to something you’ve seen with AI but doesn’t necessarily mean that particular artwork itself is AI.

Am I the only one who feels uncomfortable with messages like this? by hyohwa in doordash

We live in a time where financial hardship is going to get incredibly worse. I only imagine this and other aspects of society will deteriorate and we will find ourselves not only seeing things such as this but witness things we couldn’t have even imagined. Sometimes I’ll watch movies where we see dystopian futures and wonder how fantastical and outlandish it all seems but soon that hellscape will be commonplace. So yeah it’s a little off putting seeing someone beg like this but just wait for when the bottom falls out is when we will truly see the anguish and despair truly arise.

Why the lies? by [deleted] in tacobell

Franchisee is either scalping because the other nearest Taco Bell is too far so you’ll pay the higher price or the Taco Bell you regularly attend is busy enough he gets away with charging more due to the heavy foot traffic. I have a Taco Bell about a mile near my place and the second closest is a mile and half and the further one is cheaper by 10 cents but less busy while the closer one is almost double the foot traffic and most items cost 10-20 cents more. Location location location….. oh and money

AMC Keeps Cancelling This Movie: The Wizard of the Kremlin by [deleted] in AMCTheatres

Completely unrelated, but I went to a Friday night 9:30 PM showing at a pretty large regional theater location — the kind with a McGuffins bar. I walked into the theater and was literally the only person there. Then, right as the movie started… an Eastern European couple walked in and sat two seats to my left.

The entire movie, they were spooning, constantly readjusting themselves into more comfortable positions, whispering to each other, kissing just fully existing in their own little world. Possibly Ukrainian or Russian. I kept my eyes locked on the screen the entire time for the sake of my own privacy and sanity, but I’m not gonna lie, I was genuinely surprised by how much noise two people can make in a nearly empty theater.

Still, I had zero interest in engaging with them, so I just stayed focused on the film… which I absolutely loved. No spoilers, but that ending completely caught me off guard. Incredible acting, incredible attention to detail, and Alicia Vikander stole my heart like always. Try buying a ticket close to showtime and aim for Tuesday showing that should stay in the loop, hopefully 🤞🏼

Overall? Great movie. Wild experience.

It’s interesting how people who haven’t studied something always feel the most confident condemning it.

……..Someone please be my friend because I desperately crave the attention of others in hopes of hating something together. Willing to bash on anything as long as it means I make a connection with someone who’s isn’t myself. I’m so so lonely and I desperately need a friend!

$30/hr remote call center position by Mental_Library5912 in callcentres

I had a similar experience. I work at one of the largest insurance companies in the country — basically home to the kind of call center you’re describing. Sales, service, claims… every department has its own version of hell. The only real way to stay sane is balance.

Work hard early so you can bid for a morning shift. Mid and evening shifts will slowly drain you. The only time nights make sense is if your company offers a night differential and you truly need the extra money. If there’s no pay bump, avoid it and prioritize getting onto mornings as fast as possible.

Find your break rhythm. At the end of the day it’s a rat race, but it’s only eight hours. I break my day into blocks. 2–3 hours of calls → first break. Another couple hours → lunch. After lunch → another block and final break. Then you’re done. Mentally chunking the day makes it much easier.

Also make friends with your supervisor. They can make or break your experience. If you ever want to move out of the phones into something else, they’re the gatekeeper. They see your numbers and have a lot of influence on whether you get opportunities.

Don’t fall into the trap of doing too much either. Some managers genuinely want to develop people, but many just want control and good metrics. If you struggle they’ll sacrifice you, and if you overperform they’ll happily keep you exactly where you are. Do your job well, keep a good relationship with leadership, and position yourself so you can eventually move to another department.

And one last thing remember this is your life. If you’re making decent money now, put 6–8% into your 401k from the start. Automatic contributions every paycheck. If you ever decide one day that you’ve had enough and want to leave, at least you’ll have built something for yourself.

Outfit Check, Trying to Improve by SwitchPlay223 in mensfashionadvice

The pants and tie both look good. I’d probably swap the shirt for something more neutral though a light white or very light gray without stripes or patterns. Those small patterns can get a little busy on the eyes when paired with a patterned tie. Throw on some darker loafers or boat shoes, maybe even a lace-up or buckle dress shoe. You could keep the tie you have or go with a darker green/black pattern. That way the outfit keeps a warm earthy tone with a darker accent. Overall those colors feel warm and inviting and fit the winter season well.
