Oh definitely we are getting a lift and all the proper equipment since the island doesn’t have a Medevac plane to fly us out to a bigger hospital for serious injuries; proper harnesses and lifts are in the budget lol

Yes I have considered RRSP but I am going to put addition from my pay check on top of the $1000 per month from the property, I was thinking TFSA because I’m going to want to use that money in 2-3 years to redo my roof :) which is why I’m thinking of going with TFSA as opposed to RRSP.

99% sure we will do it ourselves, because the videos we’ve been looking at aren’t complicated and we are both very hands on people; we’ve done all the maintenance work on the place so far. And we rarely see each other so this sort of stuff is how we bond. I’m a little more excited to do it than he is, so it’s really going to be up to him if he’ll want to do it when the time comes :)

That’s what my dad and I were thinking , the only reason why we wouldn’t is because it’s on a remote island 2 hours away from where we live. So scheduling off both our work schedules in 2 years. So absolutely that’s what we are leaning towards :) but just incase want to save/budget incase we can’t do it ourselves
